Refuah Ve'Yeshua was delighted when the government announced the tender to build a full fledged hospital in Ashdod. After competing successfully in the first two rounds, we have unfortunately had to withdraw our participation as our impression is that the government is presently not committed to a fair and free tender that would encourage private initiative in building and running a hospital. While the government had declared that there would be no further postponements in the deadline for submission of the tender bid, the committee has recently announced that the deadline was being postponed yet again. The committee intends on meeting with all the bidders who passed the initial vetting process in an attempt to bring them back into the process. In the meantime, Refuah Ve'Yeshua is committed to building the Ashdod Medical Center so that the people of Ashdod will receive superior emergency and community medical care as soon as possible.
